Reflection
1 John 4:16 teaches that God’s character is defined by love. He is not simply loving; He is love itself. When we trust in His love and choose to remain in it, a mutual abiding happens—God remains in us and we in Him. This relationship invites us to live by love, reflecting God’s nature. Remaining in His love demands continuous trust, openness, and surrender as His love shapes us daily. It reassures us that separation from God is impossible because we are securely held by His abundant love.
Put it into practice
Today, intentionally draw close to God by focusing on His love. Let His love guide your words and actions, strengthening your bond with Him through loving relationships and sincere trust.
A prayer for today
Father, thank You for revealing Yourself through Your love. Help me to remain deeply rooted in Your love daily, trusting in Your presence and letting Your love transform my heart and life. Teach me to live in a way that honors this precious relationship. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
